Recently there was a protest by the Black lives matter movement. Where? All around the country. It even reached Australia with African Americans and others protesting President Donald Trumps executive orders. I think that we need to find some way to take this to the house, more importantly the Senate. The Senate can impeach the president and can slow down the president and his request. What will the organization do in order to stop or slow down Trump?

The NBA All Start weekend is approaching, and so that means that we are expecting to see the jerseys. But the thing that no one was expecting was to be bored by the uniforms. When the jerseys were released people were immediately  upset at what they had seen. The jerseys were just…boring.

The Rockets vs the 76ers, when you first hear that nine times out of ten you think of a blowout game with the rockets winning. But tonight the 76ers waned a win, they wanted to tie the season series to 1-1 before playing them next year. They started off giving the game their all making sure that the Rockets and James harden didn’t run away with the game. Even heading into the second half the Sixers didn’t  let the game get out of the hand. But James harden did what he normally does, he takes over the game. Harden kept his team with the lead in the fourth , in which led them to a win against the Sixers. 123-118 the rockets giving them a 2-0 record against the Sixers for this season. I like both teams and didn’t care who won. But I expected the Rockets to win only because they have James Harden.

Benjamin Bradley was a slave born in 1830, who was most famous or known for because of his inventions. Being as though he was a slave he wasn’t allowed to be educated in how to read, write, or any other school based education. But  the children of Bradley’s master taught him how to read and write. He flourished in math and engineering, he exceed so much that he was given a job as an assistant in the science department at the United States Naval Academy. Benjamin was the first man to ever create an engine large enough to run the steam-powered warship.  I personally feel as though Benjamin Bradley is a very educated man.The man was only taught by children and landed at job with a prestigious organization, and created the first ever engine that was able to run the steam-powered warship, something that others who have went to college couldn’t do. This man has shown that even with very little education a man, especially a black man, can make something incredible. If I could talk to Mr.Bradley I would ask him, how do you work through failures?

The Warriors vs Rockets, two teams who many think that are bound for the Western Conference playoffs. I personally wanted the Houston Rockets to win. But things don’t go your way all the time. The warriors ended up running away with the game, with the score being 125-108. I don’t know if the Rockets where just slacking off because they beat the Warriors at the last meet up. The question that everyone else and I are thinking is, who wants it more? Who wants the season series to be 2-1 in their favor?

Chance the rapper won three Grammy awards yesterday. The 23 year old Chicago rapper won best new artist award,  the best  rap album, and the best rap performance awards. All doing so while not being signed to a record label, and releasing his work through streaming only. He was the first person to ever do so. I think that this happened because Chance has a sound that many others in his field don’t have. He’s the type of guy to rap about more positive things, things that “follow the rules”.  This question goes to Chance. After seeing how your music is doing, do you expect others to copy your sound? And if so how will you continue to be different?
